Major updates on Company Website Builder PRO - Shopping Cart edition

We have released new version of Company Website Builder PRO 1.9.1 - Shopping Cart edition and Company Website Builder 1.9.1. New version are released also as a LITE (FREE) version, supporting up to 5 categories and 5 products.

What is new?

- COMCENTER has been included. Reason? We have noticed that most clients hire a third party developer to do the integration into the design part. For this we have added a communication center between client and developer (and possibly us as advisor). So by default this COMCENTER is set up and site owner can enter here and discuss all bugs, problems found on the site with the developer. This COMCENTER (ticketing system, call as you want) acts as a BUGCENTER as well, so problems can be opened, closed, reopened, marked as urgent, etc. On all of the clients' site where we have installed this, customers have been very happy about the easy communication provided.

- Terra Payments (http://www.terrapayments.com) credit card processor was added. - DOWNLOAD MANAGER ADDON was added - this will be priced separately. - ADMIN CONTROL PANEL HTML files have been cleaned up and new CSS has been added for easier customization. - We have added PROMOTIONS. This will be usefull when you want to combine products (can be applied to single product as well) and sell it for a predefined period at a promotional price. When you add a product, you need to select "Is this a promotional product?". Then on PROMOTIONS sections this product will be visible and can be set up for showing on first page. It is interval delimited. - We have added the COUPONS section. This is a discount applied to a whole order amount. It is working on the same way as PROMOTIONS, the only difference being that it is applied to the final price and not to a product price. In the next version it will be possibble for 1 user to buy a COUPON and offer it as a GIFT to an another person to be spent on your site. It is interval delimited. - Shipping method, Shipping Charge. We thought a lot on how to implement this, we hope that we have choosen the right way. When you setup a site, each site owner will need to setup this part of the site if he sells tangible products and deliver it by mail, using DHL, FEDEX etc. How is this working? Initially you setup a weight reference. "Minimum weight (ex. 1kg)" is the base unit. Below this weight unit, all prices will be the same and "Small weight Unit (ex. 0.20kg)", applied on each small unit. Now, afterwards "Location references for countries" or "Location references for states" will be applied. You will need to setup the taxes for each country. "Tax under (for minimum weight)" and "Tax over (for small weight unit)". For each country or even for each state, you can add separate prices, because shipping will be different. For ex. if you have an order with total of 3kg and: "Minimum weight (ex. 1kg)" = 10USD (for ex England) "Small weight Unit (ex. 0.20kg)" = 2USD (for ex England) then it will be: 1kg x 10USD and 10 unit (0.2kg) x 2USD = 30USD for shipping tax calculated for weight. There will be applied an another TAX for shipping method as well. For ex FEDEX will have one "Base Tax" applied for each package and DHL another "Base Tax". Of course this is not a universal method, but probably in 90% of the cases it can be applied easily. Custom solutions can be provided on special request. - New version is encoded with IonCuber v 3.1, with ASCII support of encoded files. A lot of people complained about not knowing that they needed to upload as binary files and therefore files have been corrupted. Now anyone can upload as ASCII (default for PHP files)

- Category and subcategory part enhanced - when clicking on a category name or subcategory name, the program checks first whether it contains or not subcategories and products. This way when a category contains only subcategories - the subcategries names will be displayed. In case a category includes subcategories and products as well, the system will display the subcategories names and the products title below. - The left menu may be displayed as presented in directory structure as well using the variable - User Management has now search by users' e-mail address.
